Playtime with Chase!
Today I shot five-month-old Chase Charles. What a fun baby! He loved jumping, rolling around in his diaper and playing with mommy and Teddy. It's hard to believe that little Chase is only five-months-old -- he has the strongest legs I've ever seen in a baby his age. He was so much fun. Here are some of our outtakes.

Tyler's Eight Month Photo Session
It's been a little while since our last posting and we've been busy wrapping up 2008. It's been an amazing year full of many memories. We've shared so much with our clients and can never thank everyone enough.
As amazing as 2008 was for us, next year is going to be even better! In addition to weddings, Time After Time Studios will developing a focus on families, children, babies and seniors. We're also launching a new site and blog very soon!
In the meantime let's introduce you to Tyler Daniel. He's 8-months-old. And he's also my son. Enjoy!

Operation Smile!
The studio has been swamped with work lately, and updating our blog has been something that I admit, I've fallen behind with lately. It's just so easy to do when we're shooting five days in a week (like this week). With portrait sessions, rehearsal dinners, Trash the Dress sessions, and weddings, things can get pretty chaotic.

Lately, we've also been busy working to prepare for our annual October Family Portrait Month, benefiting Operation Smile.

Every October, Time After Time participates with an elite group of photographers around the country in a very special family portrait promotion. During this time we celebrate “Family Portrait Month,” a wonderful opportunity for clients to update their family portrait (or update portraits of their children), and help to support Operation Smile, which treats children around the world who suffer with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities. Along with other studio members of Professional Photographers of America (PPA), during the month of October, we pledge to contribute 10% of every portrait session to PPA Charities, which has chosen Operation Smile as its charitable partner. In addition, throughout the year Time After Time Studios sells “Smile Cards”, which are blank note cards with an image from the portrait session on the cover, with 100% of the proceeds donated to Operation Smile.
Recording the faces of children and their families is our greatest pleasure. That’s why we believe so strongly in the work of Operation Smile. Each year this incredible organization of more than 6,000 volunteer doctors, nurses, dentists, and specialized health-care professionals, perform free reconstructive surgeries for children suffering with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities. More than 100,000 children are born with a facial deformity each year in Operation Smile’s 26 partner countries.
At Time After Time Studios, we believe that Family Portrait Month is a wonderful way to teach children the value of reaching out to others. Even small children can understand the importance of Operation Smile’s work, and they are eager to help these needy children.
In addition, as studio owner, Operation Smile is fundamentally important to me because my beautiful 4-month-old son, Tyler, was born with an undetected cleft lip. We're incredibly fortunate to have the medical resources so Tyler's lip may be repaired. However, not all children have our advantage. They need funding for surgery. Operation Smile can help.
Baby Tyler smiling as usual. He's a super-happy baby!

Kristen & Jay's Wedding
This weekend I photographed Kristen and Jay's wedding, the last of my Pittsburgh area bookings. I've been living in Cleveland for almost two years, but I just wrapped up the last of my Pittsburgh weddings. After six years living in the 'Burgh, I accumulated more than a few clients who booked their weddings well in advance. Kristen and Jay’s was almost a three hour drive – but it was well worth it because I had an incredible time.
We started off the day at Kristen's parents' house in Hickory. We lucked out because we couldn't have asked for more picturesque weather! The clouds looked like massive cotton balls, the sun was immaculate, and it was only mildly breezy. Around 6PM the reception began at the historic The George Washington Hotel. What an amazing day!

Crystal & Ryan's Engagement Session
Time After Time Studios kicked of our Spring/Summer 2008 wedding season last Sunday with Crystal and Ryan’s engagement session in Rocky River. With rain and cooler weather threatening all week, Sunday ended up being slightly overcast but perfect for photos! Crystal and Ryan were fantastic to work with, and our session was such a blast! Crystal and Ryan, thanks again! Looking forward to seeing you at the wedding in July!

Announcing Baby Tyler Daniel!
I'd like to officially announce the birth of my first born son, Tyler Daniel! Tyler was born on April 1st (yes -- April Fools Day) weighing 7.3 pounds and 21 inches in length. Tyler's only 5 weeks old now but he's already had his first photo session. Guess he'll have to get used to having a paparazzi mommy. ;)

Nicole & Joe's Wedding
Back in February I had the pleasure of shooting one of my favorite couples’ wedding, Nicole and Joe. Nicole is absolutely sweet, and by the look in Joe’s face anyone can see how much he adores her. The weather was cool, however the sun was shining brightly making it an absolutely perfect day for photos! Nicole and Joe – thank you so much for the amazing day of photography!

Amy Nixon's January Bridal Show
This past Tuesday, I had the pleasure of networking with several people at wedding planner Amy Nixon's Bridal Show in Sheffield Lake. Amy and her team did an excellent job of coordinating things. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about the studio's services. It was also great talking with other local photographers and wedding vendors.

Michelle and Murph's Wedding
Michelle and Murph's wedding was the studio's first of 2008, and it was a blast! I shot the wedding with good friend and guest shooter for the day, Crystal Nowak (La Carte Bella). We had an incredible time! Michelle was stunning, so taking a bad photo of her was out of the question, and Murph and his family were so much fun! We have to admit, we were completely stunned when they both were hoisted up on chairs during the reception! Thanks Michelle and Murph for an amazing day!

Erin and Brett's Wedding
Erin and Brett’s wedding fell on a beautiful fall Sunday a few weeks ago. The sun was shining brightly, the trees had just started to turn, and the sky was an absolutely amazing shade of blue. Erin was a gorgeous bride and we had a perfect day of photography. Thanks Erin and Brett for a fantastic day!

Jennifer and Chris
I had a fantastic time photographing clients Jennifer and Chris with fellow photographer Chris Trafford. Despite the freezing cold October temperatures, the day went very well. We captured some beautiful outdoor photographs in leaves that had just fallen. Thanks Jenifer and Chris for being so kind and gracious. I had a terrific time celebrating with you both!
Nicole and Joe
After several months of emails and phone calls, it was good to finally meet Nicole and Joe a few weeks ago. We met at Lake View Cemetery for our engagement session, and then shot some more photos on the streets of Little Italy. We ended up having a fantastic day! Hanging out with Nicole and Joe for a few hours was a blast, and I look forward to seeing you both in February for your wedding!
Vanessa and Rory
A handful of Sundays ago, I shot the first of a several engagement sessions in downtown Cleveland’s Warehouse District. I had the pleasure of photographing Vanessa and Rory, two of my clients who are getting married next July. The lighting was ideal and the weather was perfect. All things considered, we got some amazing photographs. Best of luck planning the wedding in the next few months, guys!
